"Twilight Mania" Visual Presentation
One of the best examples of the effectiveness of visual aids is in my Twilight Mania presentation. In this Prezi, I aimed to explain to my peers how the world around was affected by the Twilight series. I used Flikr and Google Images to search for pictures and it was a long and rigorous process to determine which pictures would carry the most effect. For example, I had to find the richest and most enthralling book cover for Twilight, which would justify the attraction people had to the novel, even before the movies were all released. Pictures were really worth a thousand words, as facial expressions, actions, and the pure essence of a still shot conveyed so much and added so much depth to my presentation. I would not have been able to prove my points and give as complete a presentation as I did without the pictures in my Prezi. While adding the pictures into my presentation, it was important for me to select the best layout for the pictures which will preserve the aesthetic integrity of my presentation. I had to decided how to best orient the text in order to have a high readability. You can see my completed "Twilight Mania" Presentation here.
